Description
The PLA-G Series Mulit-Head Weighers consists of a number of individual net weighers mounted in a common frame, and discharging into a single discharge chute. The discharge chute transfers the product in to the downstream packing equipment. The weighing is achieved using loadcells and controlled by a PAK-SCAN/500 weighing controller.
Each weigh head consists of a feed control chute and gate, a weigh hopper and a weigh head loadcell assembly. The scale is mounted in a common frame with "in-line" style lift-off weigh buckets to provide easy access to the weigher components for removal, cleaning and maintenance.
Each weigh head loadcell assembly is connected (via a scale mounted local amplifier) to the PAK-SCAN/500 controller which controls all weighers. The PAK-SCAN/500 is responsible for the operation of each of the weigher's control functions, interface with the downstream equipment, and the automatic adjustment of the individual weighers' control parameters.
The three functions of each weigher, main feed, fine feed and weigh hopper discharge are operated pneumatically using solenoid valves which in turn are controlled by the PAK-SCAN/500 controller.
